“Speaking of Christ” – Week 2
“You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up” (Deuteronomy 6:7).
As parents and grandparents, we have the joyous responsibility of teaching the children God’s Word. When the Word is in our hearts, it will become part of our conversation. This is something that we must be attentive to. Whether we are in the privacy of our homes or out in public, we must be careful what we allow to come out of our mouths. Remember, what we teach our children, they will teach our grandchildren. |

I love to watch children at Christmastime. They get so excited, they can hardly stand it. Their eyes light up when they see a commercial on the television, and every toy becomes part of their wish list. They make sure everyone knows what they want for Christmas. They just can’t stop talking about it.
