“Addition to the Family” – Week 3
“In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents” (Luke 15:10).
The Bible tells us that God has a family with many children. Even now He is “preparing a place for us that where He is, we may be also.” Everyday, more children are added to God’s family. He allows us to be part of His family when we believe in His Son, Jesus, and repent of our sins. The family is excited about each new birth. Even the angels rejoice! |

This is an exciting time for our family. In just a few weeks our new granddaughter will be born. For months, our son and daughter-in-law have been preparing for their new arrival. There have been ultrasounds, and many doctor’s visits. Friends and family have contributed by attending baby showers and giving gifts. Now, the nursery is set up, beautifully decorated in pink. Big brother, Issac, wonders what it will be like having another girl in the family, while big sister, Jaysa imaginatively awaits her new playmate. Papa and Nana (Tim and I) look forward to loving on her. One thing for sure, once she gets here, there will be tears of joy and rejoicing in the Cowdell household.
