Emily Stone

Emily Brown Stone was born in Sumter, South Carolina, on an Air Force Base where her father served as a military chaplain. Her family moved to Cleveland, TN, just before she turned two years old. Emily grew up in Cleveland actively participating in her church. She graduated from Lee University in 1999 with a BA in Psychology. While at Lee she also spent a semester studying at the Church of God European Theological Seminary, which later influenced her decision to attend the Church of God Theological Seminary. She graduated with a Master of Divinity emphasizing in biblical studies in 2002.

She met and married her husband, Jonathan Stone, while both of them were attending seminary. After graduation Emily and her husband moved to Fresno, California, where they worked with Mission California. She is an ordained minister in the Church of God. Emily is a graduate of the Mennonite Brethren Biblical Seminary, Fresno, California, with degree of Master of Arts in Marriage, Family, and Child Counseling. She graduated in May 2005.

Her most precious gift received while in California was the birth of her first child, her beautiful daughter Eloise Elizabeth Stone. Emily and her family live in Europe where her husband is the youth and Christian education director of Western Europe (Church of God World Missions project number 065-0790). Jon and Emily's second child, Lillian Grace Stone, was born in Prague, Czech Republic, on October 16, 2005.

Emily loves to read, travel, and spend time with her wonderful family.
